The liberation of nonhuman animals from exploitation is inextricably tied to our own enduring struggle to overcome oppression. What we do to others, we do to ourselves. Collectively, we can either be hindered and hurt by greed, lack of empathy, and indifference, or we can be free to grow, to thrive, and to love.
